As a typical boy, Andrew Van der Bijl, was always getting into trouble. During World War 2 Andrew risked his life by lighting fireworks in the faces of German soldiers that occupied Holland!
Many years later, God used Andrew's bravery to smuggle Bibles into Communist countries. Through his many adventures Andrew became known as Gods Smuggler and given the name Brother Andrew. Wars and borders mean nothing to God, as he used Brother Andrew to deliver His word to the persecuted church around the world. A ministry that still exisits today through the organisation Brother Andrew founded - Open Doors.
