Part of the Trailblazers series, this inspiring biography for young people tells the thrilling but little known story of Billy Bray, a man far from God who was gloriously saved and used by Him to reach many with the Gospel.
Billy was a tin miner in Cornwall in the 1800's which was a very dangerous job, with little pay and few safety measures. Billy loved drinking and laughed at everything, including God, until a rock fall in the mine nearly killed him. Completely sober, he walked home thinking about eternity, his soul and his sin.
God had a plan for Billy's life and did not leave him in his misery. Billy met the Lord Jesus, repenting and receiving Him as Saviour and Lord. Knowing he was forgiven, he began to share his faith and the Good News of the Gospel. True revival came to the area for Billy was a lively preacher, and new chapels were built where the many new converts could meet together. God used Billy in a mighty way and many were saved to God's glory.
