Sue Mayfield is a freelance writer best known for her award-winning novels for teenagers, several of which deal with issues of bereavement and loss. She runs creative writing events in schools and spirituality workshops for all ages and has been writer in residence in a museum, a parish church and two hospitals. Sue has recently been involved in a number of Arts-In-Health projects and currently facilitates expressive writing at a hospice and a GP surgery. She has written several books for Lion including On Eagles' Wings, Patterns in the sand, and Exploring Prayer. She lives in Cheltenham with her husband and their three sons
