The greeting inside each of the cards reads: May the joy and peace of Christ the Saviour be with you this Christmas
- The verse on the front of the first card reads: Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. Luke 2:8. This is followed by lyrics to 'While shepherds watched their flocks by night' on the inside of the card
- The verse on the front of the second card reads: Wise men for the East came to Jerusalem, saying "...We have seen his star ...and have come to worship him" Matthew 2:1,2. This is followed by the first verse of 'We three kings' on the inside of the card
- The verse on the final card reads: Joseph went to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. Luke 2:4-5. this is followed by the start of 'Little donkey' on the inside of the card
