Ask someone in the street about Jesus and your answer will mainly consist of ignorance or fiction.
The public are presented with books claiming to show the 'authentic' Jesus from people whose starting point is one of scepticism. The media affirm these viewpoints by providing positive reviews and feature articles praising their scholarliness.
But is this the true picture?
If it is the Church's responsibility to correct these misconceptions what will your contribution be? How much do you know about Jesus? Could you explain the true significance of key events surrounding his life to someone who really wanted to know? Would this provide them with the Steps of Understanding that will help them see the relevance of Jesus's Life?
It may be a good idea to find out.
It would be an even better one to start getting the truth out there!!
