If there's anything the body of Christ needs to have, it is the mind of Christ. In his book Imitating Christ, R T Kendall teaches us the attitude, I initiative, and motivation of being like Christ. He will challenge you to empty yourself of self, and learn how to receive inner peace and a total faith in God such as you have never experienced before. - Joyce Meyer, best selling author and Bible teacher
Imitate Christ
Do You? - Can You? - Will You?
Amazing things will start to happen when you let go of your rights, when you stop maintaining your reputation, and when you resist seeking revenge against those who have wronged you.
In order to do this, you have to take A.I.M. with great precision, making each of the following a priority in your life.
A - Attitude (our perspective of how we should live)
I - Initiative (counting the cost; we know what is rightfully ours and make a conscious choice to let go of those rights)
M - Motivation (what motivates you should be your passion for and fear of God)
What you are about to give up is going to be minuscule in comparison to what you will gain. Besides, you will lose it all in the end anyway. Why hang on to it now? Give it up and experience real peace.
