This anthology highlights several insights from Samuel Rutherford’s turbulent, yet fruitful ministry as a Scottish Covenanter. It contains a selection of his remarkable sayings as well as excerpts from his classic letters. Four of his sermons, retaining the original Scots dialect of that era, have also been included. They are: “Christ’s Napkin,” “The Forlorn Son,” “The Weeping Mary at the Sepulchre” and “The Worth and Excellence of Christ.”
An Inspirational Treasury of D. L. Moody, and An Inspirational Treasury of Martin Luther are now available. Other Inspirational Treasury titles to follow include: Hudson Taylor, C. T. Studd, F. B. Meyer, Robert Murray McCheyne and John Wesley.
