The story of God making the world, simply by speaking it into being. Everything God made was good, including human beings. The first man and woman lived in a beautiful garden and had everything they needed. Then one day the Devil came disguised as a snake and tempted the woman to doubt God's word. She listened, took the forbidden fruit, and everything was spoiled. The man and woman were turned out of the garden, life became hard, and their friendship with God was broken. Thank God it was not the end of the story, but part of God's plan for the world.
