Deborah is a bright and insightful young woman who makes principled decisions, often quickly without thinking. When the place she lives invaded by Sisera, general of King Jabins army, Deborah is really brave and warns the people of danger, and everyone flees. But that doesn't stop Jabin and Sisera's ongoing attacks.
As Deborah matures into adulthood she becomes a natural leader, and shares the will of God with His people by helping them solve many difficult problems. Later, God even calls her to help defeat King Jabin's army so that Israel can finally have peace.
Children will see that with God's help, they can courageous, be just like Deborah!
