About the Authors:
David and Shirley have run New Foundations, an Evangelical Medical Mission in the area of the Niger Delta, for fifteen years, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evidence-based Primary Healthcare. Their Mission clinics are situated in remote riverine communities, where indigenous people are trained as medical missionaries to their own people. They have two adult sons and currently are based in the Scottish Borders where David still works in General Practice.
