About the Author:
Otto Kaiser taught at the University of Marburg from 1960 to 1993. His Jrtroduction to the Old Testament remains a classic in the field, as does his commentary on Isaiah. He edits the Zeitschrift fiir die Altestamentliche Wissenschaft and the series Beihefte zur Zeitschfrift fiir die Alttestamentliche Wissenschaft. He has contributed to more than twenty festschrifts, and five such works have appeared in his honor. Old Testament Apocyypha is a translation of his Die Alttestamentlichen Apokryphen, published in German in 2000.
