Description

The history of the world changed forever in the eight days from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. The "Easter Octave" is so crucial to the Christian faith that Matthew, Mark, and Luke devote one-third of their gospels to it while John devotes one-half of his gospel to this critical period.

The dramatic events of that week and their continuing significance for believers today are the focus of Don Aycock's unique study of the Passion Week. "I have not attempted a verse-by-verse study, nor have I tried to cover every event of Jesus' last week," he writes. "Instead, I have approached this study synthetically by taking the accounts from all four Gospels and trying to make sense of their reports. The major events of each day are examined with a view toward understanding what happened then and what difference it makes today."

"...well-researched biblical studies... replete with fresh, illuminating illustrations." - The Baptist Message

"Aycock communicates great appeal in his writing, [He] is not afraid to tackle the tough issues... good food for thought and inspiration." - Review & Expositor
